Welcome to Maria's
News
Greetings, Happy New Year and here's to a
wonderful 2012. After a relaxing holiday in Bali I am up and
running with concerts, festivals and musical projects. My latest
album 'Solo' has been well received so far and I have had
some lovely gigs this year - the Koroit Lake School and a beautiful
concert at the Uniting Church in Queenscliff. Check out my gig
guide for upcoming concerts. I am busy working on a show that
I plan to tour over the next 2 years. I will fill you in
soon!
The
2011 Celtic Tour of Ireland was a great success. Twenty
Aussies traversed Ireland both north and south. One of the
highlights for me was the Derry Wall Walk. Martin Mc Crossin
passionately shared Derry's history with us and at times reduced us
to tears. There has been a lot of healing in Derry since the
historic apology which took place last year.
Some of our destinations in Ireland were
Dublin, Belfast, Westport, Galway, Dingle to name a few. Here is a
